Wrapping Up an Unforgettable 2024 Season and Looking Ahead to 2025 Adventures!
January 4, 2024
As we just wrapped up the 2024 Season, we’d like to thank all our guests who made us a part of their Alaskan Adventure! The park was nothing less than spectacular this summer and it was truly a pleasure to take everyone out to view it with us! This season marked our 34th year in business and we still are in awe with what we see on our tours. We took out several thousand guests this summer, with our most popular tour option being the 8 hour Kenai Fjords Sightseeing & Fishing combination tour! This option is always a favorite with our guests because it gives them the best of both worlds as far as an Alaskan experience goes. We spend 7 hours touring Resurrection Bay, the Chiswell Islands, and Aialik Bay which is part of Kenai Fjords National Park. The highlight of this trip is when we stop at Holgate Glacier which is absolutely breathtaking! Along the way on this tour, we stop for an hour to do some light tackle fishing for rockfish. When the bite is hot, this can be a rush, and at times half the boat will be hooked up at once! We filet your catch for you and you can arrange to ship it back home but a lot of guests like to bring their fish to the local restaurants to have it prepared for them that night for dinner!
Our season just came to an end but we have already had a flux of reservations for the 2025 season. The peak for tourism in Alaska is July so if you’re thinking of coming during that month then now is the time to start planning. We only have tours running select days in July and August. Our calendar is a lot more open in May, June, and September since school is in during those months and families aren’t traveling as much because of it. We also have a beautiful 10 room lodge located right in the harbor that overhangs the water, but that generally fills up every month during our season so lodging is something you want to reserve well in advance usually. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have and we can definitely help plan your Alaskan Adventure!
