Kenai Fjords Glaciers & Seward Tours
April 8, 2026
Alaska is on a lot of travelers’ bucket lists for many reasons, but high up on that list is to see its landscape and glaciers! The Kenai Peninsula is such a popular part of Alaska for visitors’ to come to due to Kenai Fjords National Park. Covering over 1000 square miles and nearly 700,000 acres, more than half of this area is covered in ice, primarily the Harding Icefield (which is one of the largest icefields in the United States) , which feeds dozens of glaciers.
Seward is the most accessible town to the National Park. The only part of the park that is accessible by road is Exit Glacier. This is a hot attraction for guests when they are in Seward as its only a short hike to walk up to the glacier. The largest glacier in the park is Bear Glacier which is located in Resurrection Bay. This is one of the highlight spots during our 4 Hour Bay Tour!
Some of the most significant fjords in the National Park are Aialik Bay and Harris Bay, which brings you up to some of the glaciers you can see on our 7 hour and 8 hour tour options like Aialik Glacier, Holegate Glacier, and Northwestern Glacier.
